Job Summary:

In this role as 
Crush Pad Loader Operator, you will use the loader to prep vehicles for crushing operations and operate the crusher to complete the vehicle’s lifecycle. The ideal candidate is reliable and safety-conscious, and experienced. This role plays a vital part in maintaining site safety and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

 
  • Expose the dash and heavy saturated areas of wire to assist the ground de-core team
  • Pull down the yard of vehicles to be crushed
  • Manipulate the motor for ease of de-coring by the ground de-core team
  • Safely operate the forklift to load trucks with packages of crushed vehicles
  • Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to coordinate loading operations
  • Follow all company safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist with general labor duties as needed on the job site

Required Skills & Qualifications:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Prior production, warehouse, and/or automotive experience
  • Prior experience operating heavy equipment
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Regular attendance and timeliness
  • Maintain a consistent work schedule
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Bilingual Spanish - desired, not required
