Job Title: Retail Sales Associate
Location: 3151 S. HWY, S 99 Frontage Rd, Stockton CA 95215
Classification: Full-Time/ Non-Exempt
Reports to: Sales Supervisor

Winter Hours: 9:00-5:30 pm - Weekends required *
Summer Hours: 10:00-6:30 pm - Weekends required *

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll work directly with customers to help them find the auto parts they need. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with the public and thrives in an environment centered around cars and customer support.

- $17.00 per hour. Includes potential for overtime and tons of room for increases!

Job Summary:
As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll work directly with customers to help them find the auto parts they need. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with the public and thrives in an environment centered around cars and customer support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet customers when they enter the store
- Answer customer questions / provide customer support to assist with meeting customer auto part needs
- Assist with ringing and completing the sale at the store
- Work as a team towards housekeeping, janitorial, and other duties as assigned by the task list (This can include cleaning tires, carrying batteries, mopping floors, etc.)
- Identify when customer interaction requires assistance from management.
- Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash handling procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Friendly positive attitude / you enjoy working with customers
- Able to lift tires and batteries weighing up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to work and reliability to arrive on time and work a consistent schedule
- Ability to learn automotive parts identification in order to recognize parts and how they relate to our customer purchases.
- Able to work retail hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to get a little dirty sometimes.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Bilingual Spanish (desired, not required).
- Previous experience in a retail environment (desired, not required).
- Must be able to pass a 30‑day trial period
Job Conditions:
- Exposure to outdoors / weather conditions for times when you must go outside into the yard.
- Regular sitting, standing, bending and walking as needed to provide proper customer service and to complete vehicle receiving duties
